During my first year at DAE I have become gradually more interested in 3D design. After working in Rhino I moved to Blender.
Over these last few years I have been practicing my skills and tried incorporating it into my projects as much as possible.
On this page, you will find some of my works in 3D design.
An animation made in Blender for a BA graduate student.
Combining hobbies with work
Making costumes is someting I have enjoyed doing in my free time and since the 3D printer has become widely available, creating details, jewelry or props for the costumes using 3D modelling has helped me improve on both the costume-making as the modelling aspect.
Other (older) works:
For a school project I created a wall/ceiling with light that would move along wherever you went. It only followed people. Before creating the physical object I created an animation to make it clear to everyone what I was trying to create.
Here is a fragment of that animation.
For one of my projects, I wanted to create an object comfortable to hold for people with Parkinson's disease. I created different shapes that I thought were comfortable shapes to hold. I then 3D printed these and had several people try them out. In the end the best one turned out to be the pink nose-like shape.
These are some quick render x Photoshop designs for my school project where I did a research design to find out it it was possible to implement aquaponics into Seaworld, and what the benefits would be.
